Corporations and government strive to achieve 3-D because the mind most rapidly and accurately processes complex data intuitively in 3-D. Corporations and the Government use expensive, time-consuming and out-dated methods of 3-D visualization to see designs before they hit the manufacturing line, plan exercises, look for oil and gas, design drugs, etc. Because of Zebra’s technology and products there are elegant solutions, which deliver dramatic time and cost improvements in 3-D visualization.
Founded in 1996 by graduates of the Media Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Zebra Imaging has become the market leader in high-quality, three-dimensional holographic imaging. Founders: Michael Klug, Mark Holzbach and Alex Ferdman.
Zebra Imaging is composed of some of the foremost experts in 3-D imaging, holography, and systems design, development and engineering in the world. Zebra’s digital holography enables collaborative 3-D viewing through a series of products and solutions. Technology Zebra’s digital holographic technology enables collaborative 3-D viewing in full-color without viewing aids, such as glasses or goggles. This unique technology produces images with full-parallax, exhibiting natural perspective change as the viewer moves in any direction. The technology provides high-resolution images in monochrome or color, without distortions. Digital holographic images are scalable to any size, can contain multiple unique images and animated sequences, and can be displayed in multiple formats. Unlike other 3-D display technologies that require complex projection systems, Zebra holographic images are activated with a simple, single light-source.
Zebra Imaging is currently focused on visualization applications with its current technologies, with primary markets in defense and intelligence, industrial design and engineering, and oil and gas exploration and production. |
