Kevin Cramton, Director of Business Development, Ford Motor Co. Mr. Cramton is presently Director, Corporate Business Development for Ford Motor Company. He has global responsibilities for the negotiation and execution of merger, acquisition, alliance/joint venture, and divestiture activities. Mr. Cramton began his career in the computer industry at UNISYS Corporation. He joined Ford Motor Company in 1987 where he has worked in various positions in Ford's Financial Services, Manufacturing, and Distribution businesses. During his career, Mr. Cramton has had functional responsibilities in Finance, Business Development, Strategy, and Marketing & Sales.
He has extensive international Business experience including assignments in the European and Asia-Pacific regions. Recent assignments include Director, Business Development, Ford Europe and CFO, Ford France. Enrique Godreau, Board Attendee, Voyager Capital Enrique focuses on technology-rich investments primarily in software, infrastructure, and wireless communication businesses. Enrique has been actively involved in the IT industry for nearly 25 years.
Before co-founding Voyager in 1997, Enrique was the initial Washington-based industry analyst for the Gartner Group. At Gartner, he specialized in commercial interactive media and Internet technologies, advising some of the world's leading cable, telephone, media, and computer software and hardware companies. Prior to this, Enrique managed Adobe's Dynamic Media Business Group and was also a principal engineer for Aldus, where he championed several acquisitions and was a major contributor to its interactive publishing business. Admiral Bobby R. Inman - LBJ Chair, UT; Ex-Director, NSA, Ex-Dep. Dir. CIA Admiral Inman is one of Austin's most well-known and successful Angel investors who, throughout the past 16 years, has invested in over 30 start-up technology companies and taken an active role in their growth and development. His most noticeable successes were Dell and Oracle, where he served on their boards through their successful IPOs.
In his prior experience, he attained the rank of four-star U.S. Navy Admiral and served as Director of Naval Intelligence, Director of the National Security Agency, and Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. After his retirement from the military, Admiral Inman became a leader in Austin's developing technology community as the Chairman and CEO of Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC), a consortium of computer software and hardware makers created in 1982.
He later served as Chairman, President and CEO of Westmark Systems, Inc., a privately owned electronics industry holding company. He also was Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas, and served as a member of the Carnegie Commission on Science, Technology, and Government.
Long active in educational concerns, Admiral Inman currently serves as a trustee of the California Institute of Technology, the American Assembly, and the Center for Excellence in Education. He is a Director of the Public Agenda Foundation and a member of the National Academy of Public Administration. In addition, he holds the Lyndon B. Steven Papermaster - Member, President Bush’s Science and Technology Council Steve Papermaster is the Chairman of Powershift Ventures, an Austin, Texas based technology venture development company focused on building software and technology companies. He currently serves on the boards of directors for several public and private companies, including Perficient, Inc and Vignette Corporation.
President George W. Bush appointed Mr. Papermaster in 2001 as a member of the President's Council of Advisors in Science and Technology (PCAST). In this capacity, Steve serves as Chairman of the Energy Independence and Innovation Committee, as well as being a member of the Technology for Combating Terrorism Committee. He is also the founder and chairman of Technology Network Texas (TechNet), a national high-technology advocacy group for policy issues and is a member of the National Executive Committee.
Prior to founding Powershift Ventures, Mr. Papermaster was the founder, chairman and CEO of BSG Corporation, a global software and systems integration company. BSG was acquired by Per Se Technologies in 1996. He began his career as a consultant with Andersen Consulting.
Mr. Papermaster received the 1996 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Austin and has served as a national and global judge for the Entrepreneur of the Year awards since 1997. In 2001 he served as the United States' judge for the World Entrepreneur of the Year award. Steve is active as a community leader with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Jewish Community Center, and the 360 Summit.

Mike Scanlin - Sierra Ventures Principal, Sierra Ventures Mike began his career as a software engineer and project manager of software projects. In the early 1990's at T/Maker he directed a team that shipped three versions of WriteNow, an award-winning Macintosh word processor with over 500,000 users. He then joined six-person startup Storm Technology. Mike wrote the JPEG image compression software that was the major component of Storm's software licensing strategy. Storm went public on NASDAQ in 1994. Following Storm's IPO, Mike went on to General Magic, where he wrote parts of the operating system and many of the critical code optimizations for Magic's handheld wireless communicator. General Magic went public on NASDAQ in 1997. During his software career Mike was published over 50 times on software performance and code optimization. Switching gears from engineering to business in 1997, Mike was a member of the early team and VP Entrepreneur Development Operations at investment bank Garage.com (now Garage Technology Ventures). After getting his NASD licenses (Series 7, 24, 63) Mike hired a team of technical and business people who were responsible for sourcing deals, evaluating opportunities, and coaching entrepreneurs on how to optimize their businesses and present to investors. During Mike's time at Garage he personally read over 10,000 executive summaries and Garage helped dozens of companies raise $330 million in venture financing. Mike is on the Board of 360Commerce and Micro Power, and is an observer for Axentis, Vykor, and Zebra Imaging. He graduated with honors from UC San Diego in Management Science.
Barry Caldwell, Operations Manager - Trucks, Ford Motor Co. Mr. Caldwell is the Manager of Truck Vehicle Line Systems for Ford Motor Company. He is responsible for providing IT services and support for North American Truck Product Development. Prior to this position, Mr. Caldwell was the CADCAM Technologies Manager responsible for developing and delivering product definition and analysis software to the Ford Enterprise. Mr. Caldwell also held a variety of other management positions in computer related fields.
Robin L. Curle - former CEO Robin Curle served as Chairman and CEO of Zebra Imaging from 2002 until early 2006, during which time Zebra developed the world's first high-speed monochrome holographic imager and focused on developing government markets. Prior to joining Zebra, Ms. Curle founded and was managing director of CEO Partnerships, a consulting firm comprised of ex-CEO's who work with a wide range of companies. Prior to that, Robin was CEO of Journee, a software company that helps copmanies conquer their data integration challenges. It is also responsible for optimizing the intersections between intellectual property considerations and business strategies and tactics. Rao previously held executive management positions in research and development, product launch, reservoir studies and sales and marketing. Nicholas Negroponte - Founder - MIT Media Lab Nicholas Negroponte is the Wiesner Professor of Media Technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and founding chairman of MIT's Media Laboratory.
Professor Negroponte studied at MIT and has been an MIT faculty member since 1966. He was the founder of MIT's pioneering Architecture Machine Group, a combination lab and think tank responsible for many radically new approaches to the human-computer interface. Jimmy Treybig - Founder, ex CEO, Tandem Jimmy joined NEA in August 2002 as a venture partner.
